Area Athletes Selected for All State Game

Six area senior baseball players were selected to play in the Eastern Washington All State Feeder Game on June 9 at Avista Stadium, giving them one final opportunity to wear their school colors. When the 10-inning game concluded – a longer game to ensure all players got to participate – Lakeside High School senior and Whitworth University baseball commit Cy Reeves was one of 11 players nominated for the all state game, scheduled for later this month in Yakima. Reeves was selected coMVP of the Northeast "A" League in 2026, his second year in a row winning the honor. Also selected to play in the game were Ezekiel Callaham of Deer Park, and Preston Mortlock, Zeke Young, Caden Hollister, and Drew Beven from state 2B fourthplace finisher Northwest Christian.
