The Colville Crimson Hawks found the podium often at the WIAA District 6 1A Wrestling Tournament on Feb. 14 at Lakeside High School, crowning three individual champions and sending eight wrestlers total to state.
Leading the way for Colville were district champions Bryce Davis (138 pounds), Trent Seitters (150 pounds), and Braedon Heater (215 pounds), each capturing first-place finishes in their respective weight classes.
Davis (25-7) dominated the bracket. After receiving a first-round bye, he secured a technical fall over Medical Lake’s Bewiller Paul in the semifinals before earning another technical fall victory – 16-0 – over Lakeside’s Joshua Bunch in the championship match.
Seitters (19-12) claimed the 150-pound title with a pair of pins. He needed just 34 seconds to pin Medical Lake’s Gage McGowan in the semifinals, and followed with another fall over Lakeside’s Kellen Paulson in the finals.
Heater (19-10) added a third championship for the Crimson Hawks. After a semifinal pin of Medical Lake’s Robert Carson, Heater secured the title with a fall over Riverside’s Vincent Ordaz in the first-place match.
Colville also saw four wrestlers finish as runners-up.
At 132 pounds, Vincent Canada (14-18) advanced to the finals with a dominant 24-9 technical fall over Medical Lake’s Rylan Horne before falling in the championship bout to Riverside’s Spencer Scarpelli.
Jacob Klauder (6-6) placed second at 126 pounds, pinning Riverside’s Colby Scarpelli in the semifinals before dropping the title match to Medical Lake’s James Oliver by technical fall.
At 165 pounds, Ashton Donaldson (8-11) reached the finals with a pin over Walker Hays of Medical Lake before finishing second after a fall in the championship match against Lakeside’s Brady Stetson.
Coen Burns (8-16) also finished second at 175 pounds. He pinned Riverside’s Tripp Roberts in the semifinals but fell in the finals to Riverside’s Ryder Wolcott.
Colville secured additional podium finishes throughout the lineup.
Caesar Stuart (10-18) placed third at 175 pounds, bouncing back from a semifinal loss to defeat Tripp Roberts by technical fall in the third-place match.
At 120 pounds, Samuel Miller (11-15) placed fourth. He opened with a decision win over Lakeside’s James Tortorici and earned a technical fall in the consolation semifinals before finishing fourth overall.
With three district champions and multiple top-four finishes, the Crimson Hawks are set to travel to Tacoma next weekend for the 2026 Mat Classic.
