The Deer Park baseball team pushed its season record to 4-0 with a 14-1 win at East Valley on March 25.
Junior Ian Olietti collected four hits, scored twice, and drove in a pair. He teamed with senior Ezekiel Callaham and sophomore Payson Hanson to strike out eight batters while only issuing one walk. Callaham contributed four hits at the plate and drove in three. Junior Carter Criss put up a three-hit, three runs scored, and three RBI stat line. Senior Parker Hamilton scored three times.
Deer Park faced defending league champion West Valley on March 28; the Eagles' pitching shut down what were red-hot Stag bats.
In the first game, the Eagles prevailed 11-0 with Criss, Olietti, and Issac Wadleigh getting the only hits.
Game two saw the visitors come away 14-2 victors. Olietti had one of four Deer Park hits and drove in one. Callaham, Hunter Robb, and Pedar Tobeck also got hits.
The Stags welcome Pullman for a single game on April 1 at 4 p.m., with Clarkston visiting for a pair on April 3 at 2 p.m.
