While the host Eagles prevailed in both dual meets, the Rams did turn in several scoring marks. The girls were led by Alyssa Riek who won the high jump and placed third in the 300 meter hurdles. The Rams also received scoring performances from: Delilah Ceparano (first place, 400 meters), Athena Jones (first place, shot put), Ruby Schneider (second place, 100 meters), Miaha Lang (second place, 400 meters), Faith Jackson (third place, 3,200 meters), and Ajah Helm (third place, pole vault).

Tristan Lebsack topped the Riverside boys with second place finishes in the shot put and discus while Gavin Hurst was third in the pole vault and high jump. Also scoring twice were David Parker (first place, 400 meters and second place, javelin), and Marcus Oergel (second place, 400 meters and high jump). Maxwell Motteshard rounded out the boys scoring with a second place finish in the pole vault.

Both squads traveled to Cheney for the VanKuren Invitational on April 18, Schneider placed ninth in the 100 meters and teamed with Riek, Ceperano, and Jones to place third in the 4x200 relay and fifth in the 4x100 relay. Riek placed second in the high jump, Jones earned third in the shot put, and Helm placed sixth in the pole vault.

Deer Park junior Myah DeSalles placed fifth in the triple jump and sixth in the long jump. Jacey Boesel brought home the only individual event title, winning the long jump. She teamed with Riley Blades, Sienna Breneman, and Emma Bryant on the fourth place 4x200 relay team.  Bryant also placed seventh in the 100 meters.

Riverside hosted Medical Lake on Tuesday with results unavailable at press time. Deer Park runs against North Central and East Valley on Wednesday, April 22, at North Central.

Riverside will be in Spirit Lake for the Timberlake Invitational on Friday, April 24, and Deer Park travels to Rogers on Saturday, April 25, for the Mooberry Relays.
