In their opener against the host Grizzlies, the Riverside offense demonstrated consistency, scoring in five of their seven at-bats on their way to a 15-14 victory over their former Northeast "A" League foe. Newport pulled away with one for the final margin with a five-run bottom of the seventh inning.

Addy Rice was the hitting star for the Rams. Collecting five hits, including a double, and driving in a pair. Anna Pace had two hits, including a double and a triple, to go with two runs scored. Chloe Nelson added a pair of hits, one of them a two-bagger, to go with a pair of runs scored. Makenna Distad and Josie Eastman each scored twice, and Paislee Jenkinson and Reece Morris had two hits apiece. Macie Hoffman was active on the basepaths with two stolen bases.

The matchup with Priest River that followed was broken open with an 11-run second inning. Lindsey Hudson-Wayne scored twice and stole three bases. Pace and Distad each scored twice with a double, and the pair combined for five stolen bases. Zoe Winterroth scored a pair of runs.
