Riverside Athletes Compete in Nike Nationals

The Riverside girls track and field record-setting quartet of Delilah Ceparano, Ruby Schneider, Ava Montgomery, and Athena Jones competed at the Nike Outdoor Nationals June 18-22 at the University of Oregon. After breaking 41-year-old school records in both the 4x100 and 4x200 meter relays, they placed sixth in the Emerging Elite division in Eugene. The group, coached by Tyler Rohrman, placed sixth in the 4x100 finals with a time of 50.08 after clocking a 49.68 in their preliminary heat.
