Riverside Baseball Erupts Against Springdale

The Riverside baseball team broke out the big bats on March 31 when they traveled to Springdale for a non-league matchup with Mary Walker.
The Rams plated three runs in the first, second, and fifth innings, and closed out the game in six innings with a six-run sixth inning.
Senior Austin Jenkinson starred at the plate, with four hits in four at bats. Two of his hits were doubles as he scored twice and drove in three. Sophomore Luke Reedy started on the mound and earned the win with Jenkinson closing out the victory in relief. Reedy aided his own cause with two hits, two runs scored, and three runs driven in. Colton WIlson and Cody Wilson each drove in three with two hits.
The Rams were in Newport on Tuesday, April 7, for matchups with the Grizzlies and Priest River Spartans with results unavailable at press time. Riverside is scheduled to host Freeman for a doubleheader at noon on Saturday, April 11.
