Eleanor Lorene Ball, 93, of Deer Park, Wash., passed away on Jan. 15, 2026.
Eleanor was born in St. Ignatius, Mont., on Sept. 29, 1932. She graduated from Deer Park High school and continued on to receive her LPN Degree.
Eleanor worked as an LPN for Deaconess Hospital for many years. In her retirement years she worked as a home health care aid and cared for her mother, May Ball.
She enjoyed gardening, flowers, crafting and the road trips she took with her mother, sister Dorothy Johnson, and brother-in-law Dale. She was also actively involved in Eastern Star.
Eleanor was an active member of Open Door Congregational Church, where she enjoyed many social activities and especially Happy Tuesday.
Through taking pictures and her photo albums, Eleanor became the unofficial family historian.
Eleanor is survived by her sister Esther Goodwin, many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her father and mother Ray and May Ball, her brother Donald Ball, and sister Dorothy Johnson.
Eleanor’s funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at Open Door Congregational Church 205 N Main St Deer Park, Wash. 99006. Retired pastor Dan Berg will be officiating. There will be a social hour at the church after the service. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Lauer Funeral Home of Deer Park, Wash. Flowers can be sent to the Open Door Congregational Church.
