FREDRICK B, HOFFER

Fredrick B. Hofer was born to Robert Hofer and Leatha B. Peterson (Sue) in Lewiston, ID on May 25, 1940. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Anne Hofer (Louderback) and his children: Richard Hofer, Christine Wyatt, Katherine Curtis, Shane Hofer, Nancy Purviss, Sherri Purdy and Dave Aldrich, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fred graduated from high school in Walla Walla and served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps for 27 years, retiring in Clayton, WA with his wife Barbara. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Deer Park, WA. Fred was a wonderful father and husband and was loved by all. A viewing for Fred will be held at Lauer Funeral Home (204 N. Main St., Deer Park, WA) on the evening of Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 6-8pm. Fred's graveside service will be held at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery (21702 W.
