MICHAEL JAMES CHAMBLISS

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Michael James Chambliss (11-22-1989 to 02-12- 2026) on February 12, 2026, at the age of 36, following complications from an ongoing health condition. Michael was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, loyal friend, and devoted dog dad whose presence brought light and laughter wherever he went. Known for his quick wit, playful spirit, and contagious smile, he had a gift for making people laugh and brightening even the darkest days. He especially loved spending time with his family and cherished the moments they shared together. Michael loved the outdoors and adventure. He especially enjoyed rock climbing with his best friend Randy and found peace in fishing and time spent in nature. A devoted fan of the Las Vegas Raiders, he brought passion and loyalty to everything he loved. He graduated from Deer Park High School in 2008 and built a career in real estate. He is survived by his loving parents, Rich and Char Chambliss; his siblings Ian, Kati, Sara, and Tyler; and his ten nieces and nephews, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 6, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at Ruby River Hotel, Shoreline Banquet Room A, 700 N Division St, Spokane, WA 99202. Though his time here was far too short, Michael’s love, laughter, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
