In Loving Memory
Patricia (Pat) Ann Irvine passed away at her home in Deer Park, Washington on March 22, 2026 at the age of 82. She was the third generation to own her property.
Pat loved her flower gardening, but not particularly the weeds! She cherished all of her family time which was always in abundance. This also included bonus family members (anybody who would walk through the door!)
Pat and the “Thursday Girls” comprised of her sister, aunts, mom, and grandma met often on a Thursday for lunch and chit chat and then off shopping. The group loved going to K-Mart to find the Blue Light Specials! Pat hosted all of the family gatherings for the holidays. And during the winter, there was always a sledding party or two to be had. Family was everything to her. Pat helped her son Rex with his twin girls after their mother passed. She took them to movies, out to dinner, and out for lunches. They are now about to graduate from Riverside High School – both Valedictorians!
Pat was a natural caregiver. Over the years she would provide care for her grandmother, her mother, and lastly, her father. Pat was the type of person you could talk to. You always knew she would listen to you.
Pat and Edward were married for 60 years. Over all the years they would take adventures to the Oregon Coast – Canon Beach and Seaside. They played pinochle and board games, bowled and attended hockey games in Canada.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, older brother, Bill and younger brother Daniel and his daughter Amber, and daughter-in-law Jenny.
Pat is survived by her husband, Edward C. Irvine, Sr.; their three children – Rex Irvine, Annette (Karl) Madison, and Edward C. Irvine, Jr.; Nieces Brandy and Stephanie whom she raised from early on; ten grandchildren – Bronson, Colt, Haley and Nick, Sierra and Dane, Shayla and Gage, Remmy and Cheyenne. From these 10 the family grew with the addition of 11 great grandchildren – Liam, Cameron and Nolan, Kyan and Wyatt, Leo and Happy, Athena, Seany and Ian, with her youngest being Emma; her siblings – Mari Ellen, Robert, Linda and Ray, Kathy, Marvin and Kate; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members whom she dearly loved.
Services are being planned for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Open Door Congregational Church of Deer Park, Washington with burial to follow at the Woodland Cemetery in Deer Park as well.
Danekas Funeral Chapel is in charge of the care and arrangements. Please visit our website at danekasfuneralchapel.com.
